Refund policy

Returns

It is extremely important to us that you are thrilled with your purchase. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your order, we will do our best to make it right and win you back. We strive for excellence in every aspect of our business, and our goal will always be customer satisfaction.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as received, unopened or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need your order number or receipt for proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We will gladly offer you a full refund on the product, including delivery expenses. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item/s to us. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. (See Non-Approved Returns)

Non-Approved Returns
We like to be as transparent as possible with our customers and we appreciate clear communication in return.Β If a package is returned to us without any prior notification, we'll be forced to charge a minimum 25% restocking fee for the incurred labour and shipping costs.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact support@britishbundles.com.

Stock Discrepancy

We strive to ensure our inventory levels are always accurate, however discrepancies can occasionally occur. Should an item you've ordered be unavailable due to a stock inconsistency, we will issue a full refund for it before your order is shipped. A notification email regarding the reimbursement will automatically be sent upon processing of this request.

Damages and issues

Though every effort is made to guarantee safe transit, damage can still occur on rare occasions. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us within 14 days if your items are damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If, by chance, you do receive the wrong item, or any damage has occurred during transit, please take photos of the item/s, including the shipping box, and contact support@britishbundles.com. Include a brief explanation and attach your images to the email. If our investigations reveal that the product has suffered breakage due to transit,Β we will happily reimburse you for its full value.

Melting/Freezing
While every effort has been made to ensure your package arrives safely and intact, we cannot guarantee items will arrive unscathed during transit due to fluctuating temperatures here in Canada. Regrettably, our team is unable to accept responsibility for any applicable melting or frozen-induced damage experienced along the way. Please see "Seasonal Shipping" in our Shipping Policy for more details.

Tip for chocolate: If your chocolate arrives soft, we suggest placing it in the fridge for an hour or so with as minimal handling as possible.

Best Before Dates

Although we are unable to display best before dates on our site at the moment, we do our best to make sure that any product shipped out to a customer will have a best before date of at least 4 weeks into the future. If any of the items in your order have a best before date of less than 4 weeks, we will contact you to let you know the BBD (Best Before Date) and ask if you are still interested in receiving this item before packaging your order.

"Best Before" vs "expiry"
Manufacturers recommend a "best before" date as the optimal time to consume their products for maximum freshness. However, consuming the product after this date is at your own discretion and may pose some risks, as the quality and nutritional value of the product cannot be guaranteed.
When a product reaches its "expiry date", it is considered a potential health hazard and should not be consumed.
