We have been offering many different types of products in all categories over on our Amazon storeΒ www.amazon.ca/shops/ainsworthsΒ since 2018.
While learning how to navigate the Amazon jungle (sorry, I couldnβt help myself), I realized there are other people out there just like myself, expats of England that are looking for the things that remind them of the good old days back home.
After finding a British supplier that would work with us being such a small vendor⦠instead of only offering single items, and to create some differentiation, I thought I would start building bundles and what do you know? People ate them up, literally! See our Cadbury Lotsbox.
Fast forward to todayβ¦ With all the fees associated with selling on Amazon, itβs almost impossible to provide single items on the platform at a decent price. Things like Cadbury Chocolate bars, you knowβ¦your favourites like Flake, Crunchie, Curly Wurly and of course the classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate bar. How about Taveners Mint Humbugs, Walkers Nonsuch Toffee, Simpkins Travel Sweets, and many moreβ¦ I know we need to make these single items as well as our amazing British bundles available to those that want access to otherwise hard to find British goods, especially on the confectionery side of things. Now, Iβve made it my mission to help people find their favorite British candy right here in Canada so, Iβve broken the chains of Amazon, created the British Bundles website and here we areβ¦
The entrepreneur
Born in Wolverhampton, Marc made the move to Canada with his parents & Sister from Birmingham, West Midlands in 1981 as a young boy. Β Always being one to make his own work for most of his life and among many other ventures including being a professional deejay to this day, Marc decided to open a shop, selling various items on Amazon Canada in 2018. British items were not the original thought but quickly became an area of focus in early 2020. To differentiate fromΒ the thousands of other sellers on Amazon, Marc decided to look at creating bundles. Remembering the delicious aroma wafting across the Bournville Bowls Club green from THE Cadbury factory every Sunday afternoon while his dad played bowls, when the time came for creating a bundle, Marc thought βwhy not make a UK Cadbury Chocolate box availableβ.
Enter the Lotsbox
The 10pk Cadbury Chocolate Bar Lotsbox was a hit on Amazon. Next came aΒ Walkers Nonsuch Toffee & Taveners Mint Humbugs Lotsbox, followed by a smaller Simpkins Travel Sweets bundle, all of which are available here on British Bundles, only at a much more manageable price without all the fees we are charged as a seller on Amazon.

Weβre a very small business and new in the British food department, therefore, weβre starting off with a very limited inventory but, we plan on expanding what we have to offer including more bundles, and I really hope you can find what you are looking for.
