We’re a small, family-run online store based in Mississauga, Ontario, offering British food, sweets and gifts. Whether you’re looking for a favourite chocolate bar, something to put beside your cuppa, or a gift with a bit of British character, you’ll find individual items alongside our curated bundles and gift boxes.
Our range includes chocolate, sweets, tea, biscuits and groceries, as well as mugs, tea towels, cushion covers and accessories. Some are familiar favourites you grew up with. Others might be something new to try.
Hi, I’m Marc
I’m Marc Ainsworth, the founder of British Bundles. I was born in Wolverhampton and moved from Birmingham to Canada with my parents and sister in 1981, when I was a young boy.
I’ve spent much of my working life creating my own work, including as a professional DJ, which I still do today. In 2018, I began selling a variety of products on Amazon Canada. British products became a focus in early 2020, when I realised there were plenty of people here looking for the same things I missed from home.
After finding a British supplier willing to work with our small business, I started putting together bundles. Chocolate seemed a good place to begin.
How the Lotsbox began
One memory that has stayed with me is the smell of chocolate drifting across the Bournville Bowls Club green from the Cadbury factory while my dad played bowls on Sunday afternoons. So, when I started thinking about a British bundle, a box of UK chocolate bars was an easy choice.
Our 10-bar chocolate Lotsbox proved popular on Amazon. Toffee and mint humbugs followed, along with travel sweets and other bundles.
And why “Lotsbox”? Because there might jolly well be lots in the box.
The British Bundles website gave us a place to offer individual favourites alongside those bundles, making it easier to choose a few things for yourself or put together a gift for someone else.
British favourites, food and gifts
Today, British Bundles brings together treats for the cupboard, something for the tea break, and gifts for the home and everyday life. You don’t have to be British to enjoy them, but if you are, you might recognise a few things you’ve been missing.
